Did anyone ever find out where Marty's inventory went? I know it's been a while but it'd be nice to find out. Hal |

I did a lot of research after he died as to where stuff went. A few phone numbers I had were unanswered and at least two EMAILs I sent relative to the inventory of the business were not returned. I even went on Google Streetview to see what could be derived from the pictures there, and the big answer was, not much. One coach in the parking lot there that looked like it'd been sitting for a long time and some misc. stuff I couldn't identify. Granted he had a lot of accumulated type-specific items there to our knowledge, but without actually going through either an inventory list or flying out to SF and doing a physical inspection, there's not a lot of ways to put a value on what he had. Most of the interchange information is in the wild for what's left of coach part availability, it's just consolidating it in a non data-silo environment (read - not Facebook!) where the information is available. I'd hate to think it was all sent to scrap, but there's absolutely no telling how the estate was handled as we're not on the inside. I've tried as best as I could to consolidate all the info here out of the old Revcon_Curious groups that I can, but I know there's holes you could drive a Mack truck through with respect to interchange info. We'll just have to deal with it going forward. Thanks Eric |

Thanks, Eric, for your due diligence in your frustrating search for Marty Moore's lifetime of accumulation. I dealt with him several times. He was .....one of a kind... and one just had to stand there for a few minutes and take it while he ran his 'recording loops' about how stupid my questions were. After that, he was fine. Any luck finding where his extensive inventory went? I'm looking for an original entry door window, for one thing. Thanks. Thom and Kathy 1971 Revcon 250 #71-0004 |
