Post subject:  dash removal

I am in dire need of replacing my dash heater blower (failed on our trip to Florida this winter : not fun ). I can't access from the under hood and no access door on plenum. I've cut a access hole in plenum and the way it's mounted either I take the whole plenum assy. out or remove the dash and see if I can remove it from above. What a stupid setup!!! Guesss mine was 1st one built after bankruptcy.LOL.
If anyone has suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Rene

Wish I could help, but my '83 is built differently. The fan motor is easy to get to, and its a good thing, as I have had to fix much of the broken plastic that holds it in place.

Old thread, but I'm curious if you find any write-up on how to remove the dash.
