My door hinges on the small utility doors used on my coach have had problems for a few years now with rust & corrosion. So, while I've got the coach into the RV service place I use I made the decision to have all the doors re-done. Five doors total, four on the left side of the coach (two fuel, one water, one cable/telco) and one on the right hand side (two external power plugs).
No one on the Revcon_Curious site ponied up any information on sources for new doors/frames and I was unable to locate any short of calling Marty Moore, so I'm forced to rehab the originals. Turns out Revcon used steel piano hinge to make the doors work, this hinge was tack-welded onto both the doors and the frames and naturally has completely rotted out. I actually had one door fall completely off, so I knew it was time to do them all. Here's some pics of what I'm dealing with right now...

So, we're going to upgrade & use new stainless steel piano hinge after everything is cleaned up so this will not happen again. All of my frames and doors were salvageable, so there's no problem in re-installing them. For any owners out there in high rust/salt areas you need to check your hinges as the same thing that happened to me will happen to you. One day down the road.
