Howdy all!

Welcome to the Revcon Forums system. Just a little bit about me, I'm Eric, I'm 49 and live in Central Florida. For the past seven years I've had the pleasure of owning a 1989 Revcon 31' RV. I started the website you are on, PoliceInterceptor.Com around the year 2000 and in 2006 I added support for Revcons on the site. Well, the Revcon pages have been running for over 6 years now, barring minor glitches.

In September, 2013 it became apparent that the primary mode of communications between Revcon users, a Yahoo group called "Revcon Curious" was becoming unstable due to several factors, most notably spam intrusion, combined with the instability of Yahoo as a platform provider among others. This forum system was started in order to preserve the group information as well as to provide a platform for ongoing communications and good fellowship between owners without having to resort to other systems such as Facebook, etc.... Too much "institutional knowledge" from other Revcon owners was at stake to let go by the wayside if the Yahoo forums should crash or otherwise disappear. I can tell you as a coach owner that the cumulative information provided by the group of owners is invaluable for ongoing coach maintenance and upkeep. Since Revcon for all intents & purposes no longer exists as a corporate entity, owner-to-owner communication has become all that more vital in preserving our coaches for long-term use.

To a large extent, I modeled what you see here from the Foretravel Foreforum website. They preceded us by three years in migrating from Yahoo groups to a private system, and has enjoyed very good success in doing so.

So, that's a little bit about me in a nutshell and my motivation for starting the system. Now it's your turn!!

I'm so pleased someone has picked up the ball and created a site worthy of the Revcon. Maybe with a stronger online community we can make Revcon ownership a little less intimidating for some. Nice job!

Welcome back! And... everyone yes, I've been a bad system manager - I haven't checked this one near enough lately. I'm going to endeavor to become more active here. Between work, family, and everything else going it unfortunately sees the short end of the stick sometimes. Thankfully we have co-administrators that do a wonderful job like Dave and Rene to help keep things going and monitored here.
