Hi everyone, First time posting... I have been refurbishing and rebuilding a 79 slant nose for the past year or so and recently had an unfortunate accident. While running the engine for my monthly engine maintenance, something on the block caught fire and could only be put out by the fire department. Thankfully everyone was ok and other than the RV nothing else was damaged. The front and inside were burned pretty badly, surprisingly, the bathroom made it out ok, and most of the windows survived. The rear of the coach is also not in bad shape. If the two front wheels are off of the ground, it could be towed. I recently bought brand new tires and 5 are still in brand new condition (the rear 4 and the spare) the rims are original and are all in good shape too. We are in Sacramento, CA. I have considered parting it out, but I would rather have it all gone at one time. If someone here is in the area and would like it, it is yours. Clean title, of course. If I'm not able to get all out, I will consider parting it out, and in that case, I'll need to know from the community what is important to keep a hold of. I am very sad to see this go, we were really looking forward to all the trips as a family. Another time, perhaps. [/img][/img] |

I took some pictures and uploaded them to Google Drive since I couldn't get them to upload here. |

I finally got it out. Hopefully those usable parts find there way to other owners. |

If you are interested in another Revcon, I have recently listed my 1984 KIng on RV Trader ass well as this site. I also own a 1988 33' in excellent condition which I might part with though I am not currently actively trying to sell. |
